Book in a Month - FAQs
1. Is this program for fiction or nonfiction?
This program is nonfiction only (how-to, teaching, memoir, personal development, professional/subject-matter books).
2. Do you write or edit the book for me?
No. I don’t ghostwrite or do heavy editing. I provide structure, guidance, accountability, and a clear publishing process. You do the writing.
3. How much time do I need each week?
Plan on writing 4–5 days per week for about 30–90 minutes per session, plus the weekly class and co-working sessions you attend.
4. What length book is realistic for this program?
Most participants aim for ≈120–150 pages, depending on pace and focus.
5. What if I fall behind or don’t finish in 30 days?
The process is designed to help you finish, but your pace is ultimately up to you. If a real emergency prevents completion, you may transfer once to a future cohort.
6. What kind of tech do I need?
You’ll need:
Reliable internet
Zoom
Google Docs or Microsoft Word with OneDrive (or another cloud-based saving system)
Phone-only writing or local-only files won’t work.
7. Why do you require Google Docs or Microsoft Word with OneDrive?
Because they can automatically save your work to the cloud, protecting you from data loss due to crashes, accidental deletions, or corrupted files.
8. Do I need to be an experienced writer?
No. You just need:
A clear direction
Willingness to learn
Discipline to show up and write
9. Do you help with sales, marketing, or launching the book?
No. This program focuses on writing and publishing only—drafting the book, cleaning it up, and submitting it to KDP with a proof copy ordered.
10. Will my book definitely be finished and published in 30 days?
That's up to you. This is a guided 30-day process, not a guarantee. Results depend on your participation and writing effort.
11. Can I use AI to help me write?
Yes—as a support tool, not a replacement for your thinking or voice.
12. Can I co-author a book with someone else?
No. Each participant works on one solo nonfiction book.
13. Do you review or approve my content before publishing?
No. You are fully responsible for your content and final publishing decisions.
14. How much does the program cost?
The program fee is $797. Payment is only requested after your application is accepted.
15. Your program sounds expensive.
Compared to a book, one-time class, or software subscription, yes—it may feel higher. Compared to the years many people spend stuck not finishing a book, it’s often far less costly. This is a small-group, live, guided writing sprint with structure, accountability, and direct support—not a passive course. You’re paying for completion momentum, not just information.
16. Do you offer payment plans?
At this time, the program is offered as a single payment only.
17. What is your refund policy?
Once the cohort begins, payments are non-refundable. In the case of a genuine emergency, you may transfer one time to a future cohort.
18. What if I’m not accepted after I apply?
If you’re not accepted for the current cohort, there is no charge, and you’re welcome to apply again for a future cohort.
19. How many people are in each cohort?
Each cohort is limited to 10 writers.
20. What kind of content will you not assist with?
I don’t support books that promote hate, racism, sexism, bigotry, violence, discrimination, explicit adult content, or harmful misinformation. This type of content is also restricted or prohibited by Amazon KDP and most mainstream publishing platforms.
